CERATEC is the brain-child of husband and wife team Ulrich and Ulrike Ranke, from Bremen, Germany.

Ulrich has had a long and successful career in audio, predominantly as an acoustics engineer designing and building drive units and speaker systems for a number of Europe's most respected loudspeaker companies - as a result the performance of all of CERATEC's models is excellent.

Ulrike's influence has shaped the range - as a very talented artist and designer she had become tired of ugly speakers destroying the esthetic of every home that the family had owned - she set Ulrich a challenge, build speakers that perform, but also look stunning - the result is CERATEC.
